This project proposes an agro-ecological transition towards a sustainable agriculture model in the KCA, which affected by the food insecurity due to the mining activities and climate change.
Thus, this project aims, in the medium term, to upgrade teaching and research activities at UNILU through the improvement of research facilities, the training of doctors and post-doctoral researchers, the establishment of a master's degree in science and environment technology.
The conducting experiments on crops and animals is essential to reach the project goals
The study sites are located in:
- Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, Gungurume and Sakania
